Ashok’s work comes from lived experience. After developing chronic fatigue syndrome while studying at Cambridge, he was told there was little that could be done. Instead of accepting that as his future, he began exploring neuroplasticity and nervous system retraining, eventually recovering fully and dedicating his life to helping others do the same.

Actionable Advice

Build real recovery into your day. By taking 10 to 20 minutes for breathwork, meditation, gentle movement, or another practice that deliberately calms your nervous system.

Practice gratitude with consistency. By using everyday moments like breakfast, lunch, and dinner to remind your brain of what is good, steady, and already enough.

Create more white space. By eating a meal, taking a walk, or sitting in silence without filling every quiet moment with screens, music, or distraction.

Process what you’re feeling instead of outrunning it. By journaling what is really bothering you, naming the emotion, validating it, and looking for the deeper pattern underneath.

Remove what repeatedly dysregulates you. By reducing or cutting back on inputs like social media, constant phone access, or environments that consistently leave you feeling anxious, depleted, or less than.
