Braised Beef Heart

This recipe uses Pluck Pure.

Instructions

Step 1

Clean your beef heart by removing the connective tissue with a sharp knife.

Step 2

Rub the front and back of your heart with sea salt and Pure Pluck.

Step 3

Sear your beef heart on both sides until deep brown. Turn the heat down to low and add bone broth. Let braise for 2 ½ hours.

Step 4

Slice granny smith apples and add to the pot of dutch oven. Continue to braise for another 30 minutes.

Step 5

Remove heart from the stove and let rest for 5 minutes. Slice along the grain and serve with braised apples. Enjoy!

1 Beef Heart

1 tablespoon beef tallow

2 tablespoons sea salt

1 tablespoon Pluck Pure

1 liter bone broth

2 granny smith apples
