This recipe uses Pluck Pure.

Step 1

Clean your beef heart by removing the connective tissue with a sharp knife.

Step 2

Rub the front and back of your heart with sea salt and Pure Pluck.

Step 3

In a dutch oven pot, sear your beef heart on both sides on the stovetop until deep brown. Reduce the heat to low and add bone broth. Let braise for 2 ½ hours on the stovetop covered.

Step 4

Slice granny smith apples and add to the dutch oven pot. Continue to braise for another 30 minutes on the stovetop.

Step 5

Remove heart from the dutch oven and let rest for 5 minutes. Slice along the grain and serve with braised apples. Enjoy!
