Instructions
Step 1
Combine ground beef with 3 teaspoon Pluck seasoning and softened butter in a medium mixing bowl.
Step 2
On a sheet tray form 2 patties and let rest for 5 minutes.
Step 3
While patties are resting, heat a heavy bottom sauté pan over high heat.
Step 4
Season patties with remaining 1 teaspoon Pluck seasoning.
Step 5
Sear burgers for 4 minutes on each side for medium. *Cook to desired doneness.
Step 6
Remove burgers from pan and let rest.
Step 7
While burgers are resting, toast the buns in the same pan with the remaining pan juices.
Step 8
Assemble burger with condiments and toppings.
Step 9
Serve and enjoy!
This burger can be made on a grill, but if you’re looking for that unique burger crust, you will want to cook in a heavy bottom sauté pan.
To ensure even cooking, poke a hole in the center of the patties when forming.
It is very important to find grass-fed, grass-finished butter. If you cannot find this, then opt for grass-fed, grass-finished ghee.
