1.5 lb. grass-fed ground beef
½ c. organic onion, chopped
½ c. dill pickles, chopped
¾ c. potato chip crumbled
3 tsp. Pluck seasoning
1 Tablespoon yellow mustard
1 ½ c. ketchup
½ c. shredded cheddar
¼ c. Worcestershire sauce
3 large eggs
Salt and pepper to taste
Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F.
In a large mixing bowl, combine all ingredients. Mix until incorporated but be sure to not over mix.
Form into a loaf.
Bake for 1 hour to 1 hour and 25 minutes, or desired doneness.
- One helpful tip is to place a pan with water in the oven to prevent the meatloaf from cracking.
- You can add in your favorite burger toppings. Some great additions would be bacon crumbles, sautéed mushrooms, and using swiss cheese instead of cheddar.
- This is another recipe that would offer a great way to include ground calf or chicken liver. Subtract a half pound of ground beef and add a half pound of liver for the substitution.
